Suter MMX in the Windtunnel

The development of the new Moto2 bike by Suter Racing Technology AG is progressing well: 2 weeks ago the actual fairing and different configurations of the prototype machine have been tested with Roberto Rolfo in the wind tunnel.
Because of the single engine supplier as well as the single tyre supplier the focus in Moto2 is even more on the chassis, the geometry and the search for the optimal setup. Last but not least the aerodynamic package will be even more important than in past.
Hence, we from Suter Racing are also keen to give here our customer the best possible package.
Apart of the testing of the basic aerodynamic characteristics of the new bike we also worked to lower the aerodynamic drag and to find downforce.
The design of the Suter MMX fairing however is not only aimed at lowering the drag on the straight but to give the bike an easy handling and to make the machine more stable. Steadiness on the straights as well in the curves are important points to us. This is why we also payed much attention to a neutral behavior of the Suter MMX.
